Description:

The Conway Technical Services Team is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer willing to work in a multi-faceted capacity at the Conway Plant as a member of a project execution group and also support Productivity and Process Improvement Team (PPIT), OPEX Program to drive machine productivity and yield improvements, 90% OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) Program, or general plant work as required. Engineering experiences at a Kimberly-Clark Staff or Plant location is desirable. Outside candidates are preferred to have 6+ years experience in high-speed converting processes.

Position Summary:

Electrical Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate design, develop, optimize, and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations. The Electrical Engineer for this role will provide leadership and design, development, optimization and problem solving for high speed converting assets. Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide specific project work direction to a broad range of team members. The incumbent reports to an Engineering Manager and receives direction in the form of general project objectives. Plant experience is very desirable.

Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to effectively collaborate with a broad network of team members. The incumbent reports to a Team Leader and receives direction in the form of specific objectives from the project lead and technical lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Carries out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop and deliver equipment and processes that meet safety requirements, policies and guidelines. Provides for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance and other personnel.
  • Leads or participates in single or multiple projects with a financial scope of up to $10 million from conception through implementation. Lead Project Management from inception with specifying, selecting, procuring, installing, engineering check-outs and starting-up associated machinery.
  • Provides functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development and optimization of manufacturing and converting processes to meet facility safety and project objectives.
  • Develops knowledge and skills to be recognized for expertise and functional leadership in application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, problem solving and project management while providing advice and counsel to others.
  • Seeks, recognizes, defines and solves complex technical issues to root cause to achieve objectives.
  • Coaches and mentors team members within the facility in areas of the expertise, including technical training, problem solving (4SPS) and the creation of knowledge transfer documentation materials.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited College or University. Candidates with an Associate, Bachelor, or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and possessing applicable experience may also be considered.
  • Requires a minimum of 6 years engineering experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments in a high-speed consumer product manufacturing and/or staff environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to perform in cross-functional teams to achieve objectives within required timeframes.
  • Experience with manufacturing control systems, such as: PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers); VFD (Variable Frequency Drives); HMI (Human Machine Interfaces); distributed control systems; instrumentation; vision systems is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the following manufacturing control systems: Allen Bradley and/or Rockwell Automation PLC's, VFD s and servo drives; Factory Talk SE/ME Allen Bradley HMI; Cognex Vision Systems; Ethernet I/P Networks; Power distribution.
  • In depth technical knowledge and expertise in high speed manufacturing operations.
  • Up to 12 years of experience in a variety of mill manufacturing and staff support or capital project assignments, including maintenance and asset support.
  • Experience working with external technical service providers.
  • Familiarity with high-speed manufacturing equipment machine startups.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
