Automotive Service Advisor
Seeking 2 highly capable, qualified, Service Advisors for the Conway Market
Superior Automotive Group seeks a qualified candidates for the Automotive Service Advisor positions available at our NWA and Central Arkansas locations to support our growing business needs. A successful candidate must have superior customer service skills, excellent work ethic, motivated to be successful and team centric. As a Service Advisor for Superior, you are passionate about taking care of the customer's needs and ensuring they know what's going on throughout the process. This role requires handling any customers, changing priorities, communication and same day follow up with the customer until they are satisfied. The goal is to move them from unhappy to happy customers based on the hand holding that this role does until their issue is resolved. This position reports to the Service Manager.
Responsibilities:
o Provides outstanding customer service and schedule appointments with the customer
o Explain to the customer the kinds of repair work needed for their vehicle, cost estimates, and level of comfort they should have that the dealership is working to resolve their needs
o Customer service, technical knowledge, and good communication skills are essential for Service Advisors
o Track repair status and fill out reports detailing the time spent on repairs and expense for parts and service area
o Conducts problem solving techniques by listening to the customer description of symptoms, clarifying the problems, conducting inspections, developing estimates, test driving the vehicle, etc.
o Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by looking through records or contacting the company to find out the information for the customer
o Continuously re-educate themselves with the latest techniques and skills required for their position
o Other jobs as described
o Writes repair orders for customers, dispatches work to the service technicians, and recommends/sells additional repair services if needed
o Setting and confirming appointments
o Greeting customers in a friendly, fast manner
o Create a great vehicle delivery experience for the customer
o Meet all targeted sales goals and performance metrics set by leadership
Physical Skills:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently; require sitting for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping. Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity required. Strong ability to communicate. Punctuality is a must.
