WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?
Executes on activations and deployments with Zone Sales Leaders, Zone Executive Leadership, and Corporate Agency to provide integrated technology and system support for agents and agents' team members
Provides expertise on various software packages for use by agents and Zone Field Leadership
Assists Zone Field Leadership in working with agents on a variety of issues
WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?
Establishes business relationships with Zone Sales Leaders, Zone Executive Leadership, Corporate Agency, agents, agents' staff members, and other Specialists
Delivers training related to agent systems and technologies which supports the State Farm sales process
Coordinates with Sales Leader in diagnosing and addressing agents' business needs related to systems and technology
Analyzes and helps solve systems problems and questions in agents' offices
Utilizes technology as available, makes scheduled visits with agents' offices to assess training needs
Becomes familiar with Sales Territory Business Plans
Develops and makes presentations to agents and agents' staff members
Provides various types of support to TICAs
Demonstrates project coordination skills and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments
Participates in sales territory team meetings and/or works directly with Sales Leader to discuss market area plans and priorities related to systems and technology
Responds to inquiries pertaining to technical/systems issues
Provides software training, as requested
ITEMS OF NOTE
Travel via commercial transportation or driving a motor vehicle to State Farm facilities, conferences, agents' offices, etc.
Must maintain a valid license to lawfully operate vehicles as directed/requested by State Farm
May be required to work irregular hours
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a Mobile Worker position in which the selected candidates will work out of their home location. We have openings in two defined territories:
- West Central Arkansas territory from Fort Smith to Conway to Mena
- South West Arkansas territory from Texarkana to Pine Bluff to Hot Springs
We prefer that the selected candidate be located within a reasonable commute or live in the territorial areas due to the majority of work out of this area.
The selected employee will be supervised virtually and is responsible for providing
technical training to State Farm Agents and their team members in one-on-one and groupsetting environments, including, providing support virtually over the phone as needed.
This position requires a high amount of daily and occasional overnight travel to and from State Farm Agent offices with approximately 60-70% of the time in the field. The ability to work extended hours as needed to accommodate this travel is part of the role and required of a selected candidate. State Farm provides you a company car, a laptop, cell phone and other necessary equipment as part of the work requirements of the role.
Desired Skills, Experiences, and Abilities:
- State Farm Agent Team Member experience is strongly desired.
- Working knowledge of State Farm proprietary Agency software and/or corporate
technical training experience.
- An understanding of State Farm product lines is a plus.
- Good with people, relationship building, self-starter, ambitious, entrepreneurship.
- Full knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn web and non-web programs in order to train agents and agent team
members on State Farm programs.
- Strong initiative and relationship building skills.
- Does not settle for mediocrity in work or quality.
- Enjoys training others in one on one and in group settings, both in person and virtually.
- Past sales and marketing experience and sales training experience is strongly desired.
IMPORTANT: Bachelor's Degree or higher level education is desired of a competitive
candidate in addition to meeting the skill sets noted above.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
