Description
TransCore - IntelliTrans, LLC, a subsidiary of Roper Industries, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a fulltime Customer Service Representative to join the Conway, AR team.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor/Lead, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for quality service and providing accurate information to customers. The CSR is responsible to accurately open accounts, explain policies and procedures, and process payment information. This responsibility includes ensuring service requirements are protected and accounted for in accordance with set standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists customers with the account opening process.
Accurately explains the terms/conditions and policies/procedures relating to the account.
Processes account payments, perform cash out process at end of shift.
Consistently meets or exceeds performance goals to ensure the highest quality of service is provided to the customer.
Performs account maintenance, including account changes, adjustments, and statement requests.
Contacts customers for additional account information.
Assists in problem correspondence as required.
Prepares reports including CSR Daily Activity report and cash out report.
Other duties may be assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
Logistics background in truck and/or rail with a working knowledge of both industries and traffic movement concepts.
Ability to work independently while maintaining internal and external customer lines of communication at all times.
Understanding of rail traffic or truck traffic and transportation industry.
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills.
Understanding of rail billing, diversions, yard operations and overall rail operations desirable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
