About the Opportunity
OpenSky is looking for a senior security consultant with a strong background in firewall architecture, design, and migration activities to support the migration of:
5 Highly Available (HA) Check Point Firewall pairs and 3 standalone Juniper Firewalls will be consolidated to 1 HA pair of Palo Alto PA-5060 appliances (as virtual systems).
In addition, the candidate will:
Review overall architecture and design
Perform firewall policy migration preparations
Assist with the migration planning process
Conduct the migration cutover process
Provide post-migration support as necessary
About You
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science
Five (5) years of experience working with Check Point, Juniper, and Paolo Alto Firewalls
Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network concepts
CISSP Certification
Experience coordinating and deploying changes through a formal change management structure
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
