About the Pest Control Service TechnicianPurpose:
Pest Control Service Technicians remove and prevent pests and termites from households, apartment buildings, places of businesses, and other structures, to protect people and maintain structural integrity.Reports To:
Service ManagerSchedule:
Monday through Friday, from 7:
30 AM to 5 PM

health and dental (company pays 100% of both for employee), life, disability (short/long term), retirement savings with company matching, paid time off, paid holidays, paid initial trainingWhat our Pest Control Service Technicians love most about working for The Bug ManHelping people to solve problems and seeing their satisfactionBeing out and about and working without direct supervisionDoing hands-on work and being recognized as an expertA family-owned company that really cares about the employeesWhat our Pest Control Service Technicians do to protect the health and property of our customers while building our businessPerform inspections for pests, pest harborages, and pest entrywaysDetermine, recommend, and provide required pest management servicesInform customers on how to reduce pest pressures through proper sanitation, storage, and landscapingPrepare written reports for customers, and explain services provided when possibleOperate and maintain service vehicle, and other service equipment per government, and company guidelinesUtilize, secure, and store products and materials in strict accordance with labels, and government and company guidelinesUpsell customers when appropriate, and/or refer sales opportunities to a supervisor, and support sales efforts as much as possibleDocument service activities as required, and complete and submit paperwork as directedMaintain licenses, certifications, and/or registrations as required, and participate in company training as directedEnsure the required equipment, products, and materials are on service vehicle to perform scheduled servicesPerform termite inspections in crawlspaces, interiors and exteriors on a variety of structures; looking for evidence of termites or conditions that could promote termite activityOur Pest Control Service Technicians must have a valid Arkansas driver's license that can satisfy our insurance company requirementsWe also require preemployment and periodic drug testsPreemployment background checks are required for us to meet our bonding requirements.Because our Pest Control Service Technicians must physically check into the office each morning, preference is given to candidates who live within 25 miles of our office to ensure reasonable commuting times and costs.We look forward to hearing from you!
