The contract length will be 240 days.
Salary schedule will be A&J.
Evaluation:
Based on Conway Public Schools District policy, Arkansas Department of Education guidelines, and as outlined by the Director of Professional Development.
Job Goal:
The Educational Technology Facilitator will work collaboratively with other District departments to support software applications for staff and students.
The Educational Technology Facilitator will provide professional development for staff members as directed.
The integration of technology will be provided through instruction and classroom modeling.
Performance
Responsibilities:
Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
Facilitate collaboration between curriculum and instructional teams and technology professionals to ensure seamless integration of technology into educational practices.
Assume the role of district compliance officer for all applications, extensions, and websites, focusing on adherence to federal and state student data privacy laws.
Collaborate closely with the technology infrastructure team to establish and maintain technology best practices, emphasizing student data privacy and ensuring the security of our network from potential threats associated with the use of apps and websites.
Create and maintain the mandated master lists for compliance with Child Internet Protection Act (CIPA), federal laws, state laws, rules, and regulations.
Manage and oversee the District Learning Management System(s), ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.
Maintain and manage the Single Sign-On solution for streamlined access to various educational technology applications.
Administer and maintain all educational technology applications, ensuring they function efficiently.
Determine current applications that may no longer be valid and within their useful lifespan and take appropriate steps to discuss the removal.
Hold the primary responsibility for the end-to-end educational technology integration process Provide job-embedded professional development for all K-12 staff members in varying ways and assist teachers embedding technology into the curriculum.
Actively participate in District pacing-level meetings with teachers and other instructional facilitators.
Research, pilot, and train staff members on new and emerging technology to advance student learning and improve efficiency.
Collaborate and coordinate with the technology coordinator on technological initiatives.
Make recommendations to the Director of Professional Development to expand the use of media to better school/home communication and identify newsworthy events to share with the public.
Work with District programs through the Director of Professional Development (special education, GT, and others) to determine ways to enhance learning for exceptional students.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
