Our operations in Conway, Arkansas include metal stamping, forming, painting, and assembly.
The facility utilizes stamping presses, brake presses, roll forms, lasers, shears, and a multi-stage paint process.
A concept to finished products company providing parts and sub-assemblies to our customers.
Approximately 100,000 square feet of floor space and 50 acres are utilized for fabrication operations.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Supervisory responsibilities of Tool Room Associates.
Develop, implement or evaluate policies and procedures.
Manage work order system and PM program for all tools.
Determine schedules, sequences and assignment of work activities; repairs, installation, preventive maintenance, etc.
Ensure work assignments are carried out in a timely fashion to minimize production loss, and in manner conducive to everyone's safety.
Participate in budget preparation and administration, coordinating the purchase of equipment, parts and tools while monitoring departmental expenditures.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe working environment and good housekeeping.
Ensure all work in performed in accordance with safety standards such as OSHA, Press Safety Codes.
Coordinate the flow of all work assignments within the department.
Establish priorities in conjunction with other departments.
Maintain Associate morale, communication and motivation and communication back to the Plant Engineering Manager the status of the department.
Ensure all work, both parts and labor, are accurately reported.
Submit and implement cost reductions and quality improvements.
Initiate the purchasing of all supplies, parts and equipment for the department.
Attend meetings as required.
Coordinate the work of sub-contractors and maintain responsibility for sub-contractors while in the facility in conjunction with OSHA specifications.
Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance program.
Promote and work as a Team Member in all situations.
Develop the skill and ability of all Tool Room team members.
Perform performance reviews as required.
Assist the Production Coordinator/Manager in developing operator awareness programs that will support the preventative maintenance program.
Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma.
Secondary Education in related field (preferred).
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Leading a Tool & Die environment in a manufacturing environment.
Supervisor 3
years; Manager 5
years.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication equipment.
Formal Supervision/Team Leader education or training.
Good experience with outside sourcing, quoting and negotiating.
Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to progress on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Able to develop and manage a departmental budget.
Good use of appropriate tools and machines.
Good administrative, organizational and computer skills.
RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS:
Strong knowledge of manufacturing plant functions.
Good people skills.
Work closely with other departments (i.
e.
Safety, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Production).
Required to work well with outside contractors.
COMPLEXITY OF TASKS:
Ability to read and interpret blue prints and standard drawings.
Must be prepared and willing to stop any unsafe equipment or process.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for all Associates (including skilled trades and apprentices) within the department.
PAY:
$100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience.
